Colour blocks and hidden meanings
Blocks of colour irregular blocks of colour in different hues , visualize them lying together, and what you would expect to encounter is confusion, but that is not so always, especially when the blocks of colour are under the blocks of colour are under the influence,. In my canvas, blocks of paint assemble interestingly of form images. And what is most magical about. It is that they go on to constitute different images, depending on the cluster of blocks you concentrate on.
Abstract and yet lucid, even to the untrained eye. I am works are direct . My blocks of colour are outlined in bold broad black lines. I have executed the blocks in that dabs of paint that the brushwork is invisible; I have used solid earthly hues
In some frames, I have put together closely related colours in such a way that gives the composition an even more solid look. In other frames, I have used contrasting shades of florescent colours , which clash and brighten the composition. But permeating trough almost every frame are the irregular colours blocks. It is like a one dimensional kaleidoscope of colours that changes patterns when you shift the angle.
I am challenged both in terms of hearing impaired, works my paintings interestingly in that I appears to conceive them whole and then fragment them into soft edged geometrid shapes. My colours too are absorbing. I have them ranging form a kaleidoscopic palette of primary colours to a monochromatic range. Which I found fascinating. Krishna, ganesh, women with child were compelling. As were the works in muted shades
I developed this technique 10 ;years back. The artist happens to be hearing impaired. But that has not interfered with my communication with the world. In fact . The chief objective of my artistic endeavour is communication. I just want to say whatever is ibn nmy heart to the world through paintings. I say take a look at some of the titles of my painting: a women with child and the truth of the statement is evident . How did I develop the technique? I just got the idea. It is all inside. I signals. However professes great admiration for Picasso and says that it was from studying Picasso’s works that l learnt combination of colours. My compositions an intelligent mosaic of colour blobs strike the eye first, then they go on to touch the heart. For the sheer straight forwardness of my technique and simplicity of my themes . I label my art semi realistic.
The use of acrylic enhances the visual impact. The artist favours acrylic colours ever since somebody me . When I was a child, with a set of acrylic and now like the feel of acrylic
I later picked up a diploma in fine art,, from the ken school of art college in the city. Today I am artist . I want to get myself more educated in art
